Utah Summer Festivals & Events

Summer is the season for community festivals and special events, and Utah offers some of the best. No matter where you travel in our state, there will be community fairs, patriotic celebrations and cultural festivals nearby. Visitors are always welcome to participate in these activities.

America's Freedom Festival at Provo is the largest Independence Day celebration in the country. It includes the popular Stadium of Fire, which has attracted considerable attention this year because it will feature Miley Cyrus. There is also a Grand Parade and a wide variety of Freedom Days events.

Up in northern Utah, Ogden City offers a popular patriotic celebration called the Hot Rock'n 4th.

The Days of '47 celebration in Salt Lake City commemorates Utah's pioneer heritage. It offers many activities including a children's parade, horse parade, rodeo, marathon, leading up to a grand parade on July 24, which is a Utah holiday called Pioneer Day.

Check our events calendar for information on community events and festivals through the state.
