Price
Price is located in a high desert, situated in a semi-arid zone that typically has a low humidity and mild winters. Summers have cool nights, hot days and lots of sunshine. Outdoor recreation opportunities are vast. Hiking, biking, water sports, rafting, historical sight-seeing are all within a moments walk or drive.

Green River State Park
Green River State Park is a peaceful destination in and of itself. It is located near several national parks, including Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef. The state park features campgrounds and a golf course. Many raft trips embark from here.

San Rafael Swell
Journey through vast deserts and yawning canyons to explore rock art, sheer cliffs and fascinating rock formations. The San Rafael Swell is home to the Wedge Overlook, Cedar Mountain, Cleveland Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry, Eagle Canyon, San Rafael Reef and Goblin Valley State Park. 435-637-3600

Huntington/Eccles Canyon "Energy Loop"
Reaching an elevation of over 10,000 feet above sea level, the "Energy Loop" winds through the Manti LaSal National Forest on state Routes 31, 264, and 96. A rich history of industrial development including coal-mining operations, coal fired power plants, historic mining towns, mining camps, and a historic cemetery can be explored on this by way through Castle Country. College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum
20,000 square feet of exhibits including seven mounted dinosaurs, a saber-toothed cat and giant mammoth await visitors to this museum located in the heart of Dinosaur country. City of Green River
Once the romping grounds for Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch, Green River is located at the corner of three national parks, national sites and many state parks. The surrounding valley offers a golfing, whitewater rafting, canoeing, hiking, backpacking, hunting and offroading. The city has more than 600 motel rooms, 300 camping spots and numerous restaurants.

River Running
River running in Destination Caslte Country will give your river running trip variety. From the put-in point on the Green River and for several miles downstream, the water is peaceful and quiet, but with each day of the trip, the whitewater continues to build in intensity. By trips end, you will have run over 60 class I-III rated rapids. Rapids are rated on a scale of I to VI, with class I being considered the least difficult, while class VI is considered too dangerous to run. So you can expect to have a lot of fun and adventure without the worries of the higher rated rapids. There are several experienced river running guides in this area including, Holiday Expeditions, Western River Expedtions, World Wide River Expeditions, and Sheri Griffith Expeditions.
